It’s the year of VOICES, a biennial concert in aid of charity. It all started back in 1991, with just 77 choristers and 6 musicians. Nowadays, the choir is made up of more than 200 singers, split in 6 voice parts. This is going to be my 4th consecutive participation in this choir. Rehearsals have already started under the direction of Martina Caruana and Tony Vella. This year’s concert theme is Heart and Soul. As to what songs we shall be singing … well that has to remain a surprise till the first two weeks of October, where there will be 10 concert nights at the Mediterranean Conference Centre. To date, VOICES has contributed more than 1.5 million Euro towards various charities!
